Not too long ago, I was invited to attend a NBA game with Robert Stevanovski. Knowing that I played college basketball and that I am a huge NBA fan, he got us courtside seats. I was so excited to see the game as close as it gets! As I watched the game, admiring the players on the court, I thought about how all of the players have achieved their childhood dream — to play in the NBA! For a few minutes – I found myself not watching the game, as I was so inspired thinking about each of them realizing their own dream. I wasn’t paying attention to the players making a good play or a bad shot or pass during that time, but on how amazing it was that out of millions of people playing basketball on the planet, they made it to the pinnacle of basketball!

Now, as I’m looking back in ACN, I think a lot of people do the same with their businesses as I did at that NBA game. They are so inspired and amazed by the other success stories that they don’t pay much attention to creating their own!  I believe that people are afraid sometimes of success. I believe that you need to look at the RVP and SVP promotions at the event and be inspired and happy for them, but at the same time you have to visualize your own success, your own testimonial, your own song. Visualize yourself walking up on that stage — who will be on stage with you, what story will you tell, who will you thank for the help and support? You need to live that moment yourself, don’t just be content with watching someone else do it. You need to work very hard and be committed to have the dream lifestyle you have always wanted.  You must pay more attention to your daily method of operation. The top achievers in ACN have worked hard and sacrificed something to get to where they are right now. You need to do the same.

Like Jim Rohn says: “You are either going to feel the pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. You choose!!”

There are no short cuts to success.

So now, are you going to pay more attention to someone else achieving their dream or will you pay more attention to what you need to DO to make YOUR dream a reality? The choice is yours. You have to play the ACN GAME :)

Have fun!

Se Concentrer Sur Le Succès

March 19, 2013 Leave a comment

It’s our turn, to thank you!

It’s hard to believe two decades have passed since those three little letters “ACN” began their life changing affect on people all over the world.  We have been calling ACN a BLESSED company from the very beginning, and THAT it truly has been.

The four of you were barely young adults when you got the crazy idea to start your own company because you couldn’t find a company that embodied all the characteristics that were so important to all of you.

To name a few:

  • A commitment to integrity as the backbone of every decision.
  • A success system, where everyone can win.
  • A company that makes decisions on what’s best in everyone’s interest and not just their own.
  • A company that understands it’s not what you make, but what you’re made of, that counts… and commits to personal and spiritual growth as the foundation of true happiness and success.
  • A company that fosters friendships and family as the most valued possessions in life.

As these 20 years have passed, so much has happened to all of you and all of us. You have played an important role in our lives as we have found our dreams, found our voice and found our way.

ACN has been a hobby to some, an opportunity to others and an absolute answer to prayer to most. You have been much more than Co-Founders.  Your sacrifice has been great and your significance immeasurable.

You’ve been true friends and family to so many through the years.  You’ve helped us learn to dream again, grow and achieve what we thought was unimaginable. You’ve celebrated the best of life with us and offered prayers of support through our challenges.

You have not only changed THE world through ACN, but you have changed OUR world by being who you are.

Through your example you have taught us to be loyal, humble servants.  For the last 20 years, you have had our backs.  Gentlemen, we want you to know, for the next 20, we have yours.

It’s difficult to find the words to thank you for all the ways the four of you have touched us, moved us, loved us, and inspired us to be better than we thought we could ever be.

Robert once said, “The BEST way you can thank us, is to go out there, be successful and make a ton of money”.

We are committed to fulfill your Vision and work hard to thank you, every day.  We’re honored to lock arms with you and CHARGE into our third decade to make ACN the company it was DESTINED to become from the beginning.

Gentlemen, on behalf of COC Members past and present and your entire ACN Family, congratulations on your 20 years of unprecedented success.

From the bottom of our hearts, we love you and we thank you!

ACN Tip: Set Goals and Follow Through!

“Goals put a date on your dreams”

To achieve any goal you must first write the goal, read it daily, and give your conscious and subconscious mind the task of making it happen.  The power is in the follow-up.  Many times life’s events get in the way of immediately accomplishing your goal, but all inconveniences, setbacks and delays are temporary.  Acknowledge that fact and continue to follow through.  Explaining your goals to your ACN mentor will make you accountable to someone other than yourself.  Confess it to possess it!  Your mentor will be able to help guide you toward your goal.  He or she will be able to establish your plan of action to succeed, but taking accountability for the follow-up is your key to success. Feet on the ground running makes a champion.

ACN’s Goal to be the Best

ACN Circle of Champions Member Geoff Davis

Geoff Davis is a Senior Vice President and Circle of Champions Member at ACN

During my 20 year involvement with ACN, one thing that has stood out beyond measure is the company’s goal to always get better at what they do.  I call it continuous improvement.  I say that because in my prior corporate career of 24 years working for a Fortune 50 auto company, I was in charge of developing “Best Practices” throughout our company.  Back in the mid 90’s, many companies pursued this path by studying what other great companies did and then emulated them.  This was all done to enhance a company’s ‘bottom line’ – to show more profits to their shareholders.  But like everything else in the corporate culture, programs didn’t last very long, especially when the next ‘best thing’ came along – and those programs were then put on the back burner for periods of time.

Fast forward to my experience with ACN; my wife Debbie and I have had the honor of sitting on the Circle of Champions for all 20 years of the company’s existence, and we have had the privilege of many private conversations with the founders and the senior level managers who steer this great ship.  At the recent 2013 COC Planning Session, I had a private conversation with ACN’s Co-Founder, Mr. Greg Provenzano and he asked me what my thoughts were about the upcoming year.  Well, of course, I conveyed how excited we were for what’s about to come and how we look forward to the massive growth anticipated, this year alone.  And then it occurred to me that the reason we are the company we are is because they never let go of the goal to be better every year than the year before – to continuously improve.  It is in their DNA to never be satisfied with where the company is.  They wake up every morning with this on their mind – how can they make it better for all of us IBOs?  They call on the COC members, an extension of the founders out into the field, to find ways to constantly improve the company – and it doesn’t just last for a season.  This has been their practice from day 1.  They want this company to be a home, not only for all of us who are involved, but all of the millions who have yet to be touched by ACN.

So, here’s my question to all of you.  How much stronger would our company within this company be if we never stopped improving; if we never stopped tweeking?  So many of us are willing to settle – settle in many aspects of our lives: personally, spiritually, morally and business-wise.  Can you imagine if we demanded that every aspect of our lives be the best it can be, and then, find a way to go make it even better?  What a great example we’d be to our business partners, our friends, our churches and our families!  What mark are we leaving?  The senior level people in this company have set a phenomenal example.  Let’s make a pact to emulate their continuous improvement model in our businesses and in our personal lives.
