I think everyone out there would agree with me when I say ACN has kicked off 2012 in a big, big way!

With each new year of opportunity, we set out to have a bigger and more successful year than ever before – and we’ve certainly set out to do just that in 2012! 

With this exciting new year upon us, we want to encourage each of you to take part in ACN’s 2012 theme: “Go MAD: Make a Difference.” With that theme, the other Co-Founders and I want you to Go Make a Difference in yourself, your organization and in the world!

The Charlotte Event – Business and LIFE Changing!

It’s now 28 days away…soon it will be one week…and the next thing you know, we will be in Charlotte, NC, filling the Time Warner Cable Arena.  Our next International Training Event is approaching fast, and my goal is to make sure that you understand the importance of these events – to ensure that not only you are registered, but that your entire team has registered, as well as every new IBO that has joined your business.

These summer months have been incredible for ACN and we’ve seen a great number of people take control of their lives by joining the ACN Opportunity. With that said, there are probably a lot of new Independent Business Owners in your organization that have never attended an ACN International Training Event, and are probably asking themselves, “Why should I go?”.

ACN Events aren’t just business changing, they are LIFE changing! Let me give you some facts:

  • It was at an ACN Event where all of the Circle of Champions members started.

The New ACN Direct Online Storefront Changes Everything

What if I told you there was an online store where customers could go and get great deals on Telecom & Home Services…would you go to it?  Would you recommend other people to it?  Of course…even better, what if YOU were the online store and every time someone signed up for a service through it, you got paid a percentage of their monthly bill?  This is ACN’s latest enhancement and everyone is more than just excited about it.

Less than 24 hours after ACN launched the online store concept, the ACN Direct Online Storefront, more than 5,000 ACN Independent Business Owners had activated their sites… and since then, tens of thousands more have as well, and it’s growing every single day!

But, lets step back for a second. I want you to understand that anytime Greg, Mike, Robert and I introduce a new idea into the ACN Opportunity, such as the ACN Direct Online Storefront, there’s always a purpose behind it…and that is to help you find more success throughout your journey. No matter how excited we were when talking about ACN, there was always a few questions and concerns many new people had. This enhancement clearly helps everyone address those concerns, making building your business easier than ever. The following are some of the questions and concerns many of you hear:  “What do I get for $499,”  “Do I need to know all about the services before I start building my ACN Business,” or “Wow, there is a lot to know…How am I going to be able to teach all of this to the people I introduce to ACN?”

Now with the ACN Direct Online Storefront, it clearly helps new people have more confidence in many ways.  It takes the pressure off all Independent Business Owners or IBOs by not needing to know and TEACH all the details of all the products when acquiring customers or recruiting new IBOs into your business.  Also, the storefront offers more value to the ACN Opportunity than ever before. A new IBO can clearly see the value in the ACN Business when they get started.  Just imagine what it would cost someone to try to replicate what the ACN Direct Online Storefront offers you.  When a new IBO starts with ACN for $499, it includes: 1) A personalized online store website already built and fully functional, 2) one that’s hosted every month, 3) a staff of people working that update your online store DAILY with the latest products, pricing and promotions, 4) live operators standing by to help sign up your new customers on services that require more attention and, 5) live operators standing by to service your existing customers.  The question going forward is no longer going to be, “What do I get for $499,” but “How is it possible that ACN can do all of this for just $499?”

You see, when this idea was born, to all of us it made complete sense. Before we launched the concept to all of you during the San Jose International Training Event, I began testing the idea by introducing it at some meetings that I attended. The feedback was incredible and proved what the other Co-Founders and myself had in mind: It eliminated questions and instilled confidence and belief.

There are so many positives in this new storefront. First and foremost, we all know the benefits of the site from putting it to use when you’re interacting with potential customers to simplifying ACN’s product portfolio and streamlining the ordering process.  Secondly, by all of ACN IBO’s using this storefront, it alleviates the burden to learn all the ins-and-outs of ACN’s expansive product portfolio. If someone has a question about any of the services we offer, all you have to do now is just go to your online store, click the service, and all the information you need is right there.

Your role as an Independent Business Owner with ACN is simpler and more streamlined than ever.  All you need to know is your online store website domain and how to direct people to it. Assist your customers in learning about and signing up for the services, and get your team to do the same. Let the site work for you and watch your customer points soar.

Compensation Plan Enhancements: The Strategy and Intent

2011 is the year of customer acquisition in ACN, and the compensation plan is the best incentive out there for you to build lasting residual income.

Although the compensation plan enhancements just came into effect on April 1, the plan and the intent behind these enhancements started well before then.

Our intention with these enhancements is what has always driven the very culture of ACN: Your success! The other Co-Founders and I are always looking for ways to help you succeed in ACN, and I absolutely believe these compensation plan enhancements are going to help take your business to the next level in 2011 and ultimately help you achieve long-term success.

Here’s our strategy:

The compensation plan enhancements will help you build more customers and overall success for many reasons.  It will help you jumpstart a new representatives’ income and help get a check in the hands of new and existing Team Trainers (TTs) quicker. TTs who are qualified can now earn a $40 Customer Acquisition Bonus (CAB) every time they directly sponsor a new TT who becomes qualified within the first 30 days of their start date.  That means TTs can earn CABs without being dependant on a Quick Start Bonus or becoming ETT.  Regardless of whether a TT is new or has been involved with ACN for any period of time, they can start earning TT CABs when new TTs in their team acquire customers.

In addition to the TT CAB, all representatives can now earn 1%, 3%, 5% or 10% on all of their personal customers’ commissionable revenue with very achievable qualifications! This is going to motivate representatives at all levels to acquire more personal customers than ever before. With the compensation plan enhancements, a representative who acquires 50 or more personal customer points – or as few as 25, 2-point customers – can maximize the personal commissions and earn 10% of their customers’ monthly bills. This is obviously an outstanding incentive to motivate representatives to acquire more customers, however in my opinion, this is one of the strongest recruiting enhancements we have ever made.  Offering the ability for someone to earn as high as 10% on their personal customers’ monthly bills is incredible by all measures!

These two new incentives ultimately lead to everyone’s success and our intention, which is to increase the overall customers in everyone’s organization, leads to more residual income for representatives across the board. This point is critical because, as you know, no income is earned at ACN without acquiring customers.

In addition, these changes and enhancements will ultimately lead to more representative promotions than ever before – and the more promotions going on in your team the more long-term success you will have!

The countdown is on for the San Diego International Training Event and we’re working down to the wire to ensure this event is ACN’s best ever! We are bringing ACN’s best speakers and trainers to the stage, along with our special guest speaker, Chris Widener, who never disappoints.

And what’s best, we were able to secure extra space in the San Diego Convention Center – but space is filling fast. With less that 500 seats available, this event is sure to completely sell out soon, so if you haven’t already secured your spot, don’t wait another minute!

I know the impact ACN Events can have on your business. For many of you, these events serve as a launching pad to take your business to the next level; they provide you with the tools and momentum you need to grow your business. They are life-changing.

You’ve got less than a week until we’re all going to be together in San Diego. I want to challenge you to make the most of this window of time. The Right Things, The Right Way, Every Day

In 1993, I, along with the other Co-Founders, was determined to create something bigger than all of us. We set out to create one of the best home-based business opportunities available in the world today, and with ACN we accomplished just that. There are a lot of reasons for ACN’s tremendous success, such as having the right vision, timing, hard work and the great people that we’ve attracted to this opportunity over the years.  We are very grateful for the success that ACN has today, however, for us that is not enough.  Our goal was not only to create a great company – it was to have it continue to be great long after all of us are gone.

To make sure ACN is here 100+ years from now, it is extremely important that all of us do the right things, the right way, every day when representing ACN. You are an extension of the company; we’re all in this together. So what you say, and how you conduct your business, matters.

Doing ACN the right way means you should build your business with integrity! Don’t over-promote and over-promise.  ACN is an incredible opportunity. You don’t need to misrepresent it or mislead someone in any way in an effort to recruit. Don’t make income claims or earnings guarantees that are not true just because you think the hype will get someone interested. The truth is when you build your business that way, you are over-promoting, and it makes people feel like you’re over-selling.  Some people over-promote because they have short-term thinking; however, most people who over-promote do it because they don’t realize what they’re doing. You don’t have to over-promote the ACN opportunity. It speaks for itself.

When you build your business with integrity, you should promote the facts and the truth with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm and the TRUTH are more powerful and more motivating than misleading hype. Misleading hype eventually leads to discouragement and disappointment; however enthusiasm and truth leads to excitement and satisfaction.

Get excited about the facts of the ACN Opportunity and get great at promoting and explaining the facts to other people.  When people understand the facts about the ACN Compensation Plan, services we offer and how to build the business the right way, that builds belief – and the more people who believe in what they are doing, the more committed they become.

Enthusiastically communicating and promoting the facts empowers and inspires people to step up and become leaders, and the more leaders you accumulate, the more success you will have.

ACN’s number one core value is integrity. Make integrity your number one value too. Help ACN out-live all of us by making sure that every single person in your organization is doing business the right way. It affects us, and it affects you.

When you explain and promote ACN, work hard, be honest and, most importantly, maintain integrity in every area of your business and your life.

Ending the year strong

Although the year is winding down, Fall is the perfect time for you to take advantage of the opportunity to end the year strong! Historically, the Fall season has been known to be a very lucrative time of year for the network marketing industry. Summer is over, the kids are off to school and most people are in a productive mindset.

I know we’re going to see amazing things happen through the end of 2010, and I can tell you that 2011 is going to be even better. As we work toward our end of the year goals, I want to encourage all of you to position yourselves to capitalize on the ACN Opportunity of today and tomorrow. The best way to do that is to lead by example. Make sure you do what you expect others to do. If you show others it can be done, they will duplicate your efforts. The following are some of the things that you should consistently do to move your ACN business forward.

1.) Always promote LONG TERM! Talk about residual income and what it can mean for individuals and families. When someone builds residual income, it helps that person achieve more freedom and a better overall lifestyle, and that is what ACN is all about!

2.) Acquire 40 or more personal customer points. Completing this goal is as important for your team as it is for you. It’s important for you because doers become believers, belief builds confidence and confidence leads to results. It’s critical to complete this goal because people usually don’t do what you say, but they do what you do! Your example will inspire your team to duplicate your efforts.

3.) Promote your ACN Business every day! In addition to your normal activities inside and outside of ACN, hand out two ACN DVD’s/Success from Home Magazines everyday! Great representatives and leaders are not created – they are found! Sometimes finding the next SVP is just a matter of luck, so the DVD you hand out may end up in the hands of the next ACN superstar. There is a saying: The harder you work, the luckier you get! Everyone who is successful in any business promotes what they do, and ACN is no different. Whoever exposes ACN to the most people will eventually be the most successful. The world is full of talented people who never realize their true potential because they don’t have work ethic. Work ethic will always outdo talent in the long-term. Work hard; take a few minutes every day to promote your ACN Business, and watch how lucky you can become!

4.) Bring at least one new prospect to every ACN presentation you attend. It’s important that you are consistent and always leading by example. Ask yourself, “If everyone on my team did what I did today, how successful am I going to be?” Sometimes you get better results by inviting, picking up and driving just one person to a presentation than if you invited many people and left it up to them to show up. If you pick someone up and bring them with you, they will obviously show up to the presentation. One person may not sound like a lot, but imagine if everyone on your team brought one new guest to each presentation. A lot of people doing a little adds up to a lot of production!

5.) Keep the business simple and get people involved in weekly training to learn about ACN. Promoting weekly training shows people you care, builds belief of the ACN Opportunity and teaches new representatives how to launch their businesses correctly. Recruiting is really about sorting for interested people who want to be a part of ACN. People hear this, but it usually takes a long time for them to accept this is true! You may be a good talker and have the ability to convince someone to join ACN, but if you have to convince someone to join, you’ll also have to convince them to do anything else. This is a hard road to take, and it does not serve anyone! Remember, don’t sell; sort!

Lastly, I want to encourage you to PROMOTE! PROMOTE! PROMOTE! Emphasize the necessity and the importance of weekly trainings, lead by example, share this opportunity and you will have a team that grows!
